Paraprin Capital Receives 13th E-2 Visa Approval for Cleveland Area Real Estate Business Model
Paraprin Capital’s E-2 investment partner from the Philippines just received their 5 year E-2 visa approval through their investment in Paraprin’s Cleveland real estate E-2 business model, thus marking the 13th E-2 visa approval for Paraprin’s business model.
Paraprin’s E-2 visa business partners have received E-2 visa approvals from US Consulates across the globe, including Canada, France, Mexico, China, Philippines, Japan, and Taiwan.
Typically the E-2 visa is issued for a period of 5 years, though this can depend on the issuing Consulate. For example, most E-2 visas issued in Mexico are only valid for 4 years. However, as long as the investment in the E-2 business is maintained and the requirements of the E-2 visa program are met, the E-2 visa investor can renew their E-2 visa at the end of the initial validity period, and they can renew the visa an indefinite number of times.

It is important to note, however, that while the E-2 visa does provide for multiple entries into the US for up to 5 years for the applicant, their spouse, and any children under the age of 21, there are some disadvantages of the E-2 visa when compared against the EB-5 green card. A full comparison can be read here. However, in short, the E-2 visa does not allow for dependents to remain on the E-2 visa once they turn 21, so if your main goal is to provide a US residency solution for your children, then the EB-5 green card would be a much better option. Additionally, Consulates can be somewhat subjective in their approvals and renewals of E-2 visas, so there is always an element of uncertainty as to whether or not you will continue to be able to stay in the United States on your E-2 visa after it comes up for renewal. With the EB-5 green card, once the green card is approved, it is approved for life for you and your entire family, so it removes that element of uncertainty.
In many cases, however, the E-2 visa is a great alternative to the B1/B2 visa, especially in countries like Mexico and Colombia where the wait time for an interview for a B1/B2 visa can be up to 2-3 years. By investing in an E-2 business, an E-2 applicant can gain faster entry into the US while at the same time earning an income from their business.
